Part of the Wagner ring cycle, Der Ring des Nibelungen. Running time approx. 6hr. In Gotterdammerung we find that Hagen (Albrich's son) has drugged Siegmund, making him fall out of love with Brunnhilde so that he can marry her himself - meanwhile Brunnhilde, angered at the fickle nature of her lover, vows revenge. Performed in German with Engliish surtitles. Running time: 6hrs. End time: approx. 20:50 (Southbank Centre)
