Part of the Wagner ring cycle, Der Ring des Nibelungen. Running time approx. 6hr. In Gotterdammerung we find that Hagen (Albrich's son) has drugged Siegmund, making him fall out of love with Brunnhilde so that he can marry her himself - meanwhile Brunnhilde, angered at the fickle nature of her lover, vows revenge. Sung in German with English surtitles. Running time 6 hours 25 minutes (with 2 intervals of 40 minutes and 60 minutes respectively)
