Details
Dalia is a young refugee from Syria. Having lost her own family she is fostered in the UK and discovers a passion for cricket. She contends with racism, fear and loss before facing an impossible decision. This creative celebration explores universal themes of kindness, empathy and humanity, bringing diverse communities together.
Dalia, a People's Opera, is co-created and performed by 180 amateur and professional participants. A new commission by Garsington Opera, Roxanna Panufnik & Jessica Duchen collaborate once again to create an opera for all ages and backgrounds.
