Though less well known and less often performed than some of Offenbach's operettas, Bluebeard enjoys his usual lively music. A slick comedy of marriage and deceit about a serial bigamist, given a special twist with Offenbach's celebrated wit! Combined with this production's mid 1900's Sicilian setting, it promises a hilarious and musically excellent evening.
