Once upon a time there wasn't a country called Scotland; there was just the land. Then ten thousand years ago as the last Ice age began to recede, people slowly started to arrive and populate this distant island of ours on the "edge of the world". Since those early beginnings, generations of people have continued to travel to what we now know as Scotland, many just to visit but many others chose to stay. Oor Scotland is Andy's re-telling of Scotland's history - but this is no straight and dusty history lesson: To tell this epic tale Andy takes us on a time travelling adventure through Scotland's past to piece together the myriad of Kings, Queens, friends and foes that make up our nation's story. This Story of Scotland is told in a fun and playful way with lots of audience participation to keep everyone engaged.
