Details

A solo oral storytelling performance that emerged from a personal experience of receiving radiotherapy treatment for a rare eye cancer. An unexpected moment of beauty is revealed when the treatment is administered and ultra violet auroras appear, opening a portal to a mythical world of Norse gods. There we follow Odin, Freya, and Mimir on their epic quests in the pursuit of 'seeing'. Storyteller Alice Fernbank, weaves her personal tale through three powerful Norse myths.
