The story revolves around the lives of two young people. Tim, a nice guy who never has any luck with the ladies, and Rachel, who is successful in work but always picks the wrong man. Both spend Wednesday evenings rehearsing with a local theatre company. Along the way you will meet several characters from the world of Amateur Dramatics: the company diva, the failed auditionees, the harassed director, the perpetual chorus members and several other instantly recognisable types.
