Details
Betsy Cohen is a stir-crazy Turkish Jewish woman whose husband's extramarital affair drives her over the edge into dangerous insanity taking in some inter-faith adultery, poisoning, corruption, sexual confusion, dementia, and murder along the way. Certainly not your average musical, this highly entertaining and unusual piece of fresh new theatre has been called 'a genre-defying feel-good tragedy packed with all your favourite elements of opera, musical theatre, cabaret and even burlesque.' The show has already been staged twice in London and once at the Stockholm Pride festival 2007 to rapturous audience approval, this third production has been developed further and promises to be the best yet.
