This Tony award-winning Broadway musical pays tribute to two American Legends. The story of an Oklahoma boy who became the nation's favourite philosopher emerges through Cy Coleman's music score ranging from burlesque, vaudeville and blues to folk and jazz. The show portrays the life of the cowboy folk hero and is interspersed with some of Rogers' most famous and witty monologues in the style of the Ziegfeld Follies, providing non-stop razzle dazzle entertainment, with a large cast including tap dancing showgirls parading down a spectacular stairway in lavish costumes.
