Soho Story archiveSoho Story takes the highwayman antics of John Gay's MacHeath and sets them loose in London's Soho. Original live music inspired by Weill's Mack the Knife and Brecht's scurrilous sense of humour meets the myth of Jack the Ripper's London. The story rocks you through Soho clubs and the dreams of a young singer, in an era when titillation was the bedfellow of outrage! This end-of-the-century pocket musical is based on the Threepenny Opera.
