Details
There is no cause to celebrate....Cap n Cotchipee owned everyone in the town where slavery and racism were rife. A young idealistic preacher named Purlie Victorious, wanted freedom for the townsfolk by building a symbol of hope and equality. So Purlie and the townspeople set about creating an elaborate scheme to reclaim their rights and that s when the story really begins to heat up...
