Details

A small troupe of travelling players arrive in an outback town in Western Australia. The players have as much drama going on in their own lives as that which they portray on stage! Based on the 'Pagliacci' story, In the Shadow of a Gum Tree, weaves love and betrayal against the backdrop of a sometimes hilarious mixture of 'theatrical types' with 'country-bumpkin' characters. So, do not be surprised when soaring love-duets are followed by murder and mayhem!
