The Daily Telegraph: 11Jan01: Star RatingStar RatingStar Rating
The score embraces rock, blues, gospel and funk in a vivid and brilliant sound-world. Modern Music Theatre Troupe s version is enthusiastic and good natured. Why is this production touring theatres? In community halls, schools and prisons, it would have a stronger impact and reach the audiences for which it was honourably intended.
