Details

City of Angels archive1940's LA; Stein, a popular fiction writer struggles to hang on to his creative control, marriage and sanity, as his bestselling detective novel is turned into a movie by an egomaniac producer. The twists, turns and compromises forced upon him by the studio look set to wear away all that is good about his book, until Stone, the movie's Raymond Chandler-esque hero, decides to step out of the frame and take matters into his own hands.
