A new version of Bizet's greatest tragic love story. A gloriously seductive music theatre adaptation of George Bizet's classic love story, set in the heat and dust of 1930's Spain at the time of the Civil War. Writer and director John Doyle with his company of actor/musicians capture all the familiar melodies in their own intoxicating interpretation of Carmen, the hot blooded woman who plays with love and inspires men to violence.
