The Tell Woman is a brand new fantastical fairytale, a modern day Alice in Wonderland inspired storytelling event for youngsters aged 5 to 8. Nikky Smedley, probably best known for her role as LaaLaa in the legendary Teletubbies, is The Tell Woman. Her gigantic skirt is a magical world of colourful panels, flaps and passageways from which a myriad of weird and wonderful characters appear to play out their adventures. Featuring a cast of five physical performers, a myriad of puppets, a glorious set and original music, this brand new fantastical fairytale is perfect for the under tens and their families. This original dance theatre show is a modern day Alice in Wonderland; funny, dark, beautiful and even sometimes a bit yucky. The cast of live performers and puppets, including Nikky Smedley who once upon a time played Laa Laa the yellow Teletubby, tell the story of Sam, and how Sam’s doll comes to life and takes him into a magical world full of strange and wonderful creatures.
