One moonlit night on Outoverdown Farm, a baby is discovered in a lambing pen with a note pinned to its shawl - 'Please Save This Lamb'. As Spider Sparrow grows, everyone can see he's not like other children. He has an extraordinary way with animals, for one thing - foxes, otters, horses. He can even gentle wild American broncos. And when he gets a job as a crowstarver, Spider still loves the crows he must scare away from the newly sown wheat. But life can be tough for Spider, and danger is just around the corner. Based on the book by Dick King-Smith, The Crowstarver is an exciting and moving production for 8-13 year olds and their families.
