Grimm's fairytale. The classic story of two children sent into the woods. Unable to find their way home, they find a cottage made of cake and candy. Here lives a wicked witch who locks Hansel in a cage and tries to fatten him up ready for her to eat. Catherine Wheels Theatre Company reinvents Hansel and Gretel as a spine-chilling promenade adventure. This version of Hansel and Gretel is based on the National Theatre of Scotland's Home: East Lothian - winner of the 2006 Critics Awards for Best Show for Children and Young People and Best Design.
