It's 1831, and Mary Shelley is running out of money. She resolves to republish her novel, and watches the tale unfold again. In the dimly lit laboratories of 19th-century Geneva, Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but tormented scientist, defies the laws of nature to create life.
