Boy Called Rubbish is a truly South African Cinderella legend with the help of his special imaginary friend, young Rubbish must overcome the torments of his step-mother and the deprivation of Squat-living to discover his real worth and become the hero of the local community. Part of the 'Celebrate South Africa' season - the Tricycle are asking everyone to bring a children's book in good condition to the theatre (and donate 10p for postage) in order to help the Community Heart's Literacy Project in South Africa.
