NT CONNECTIONS commissions new plays for and about young people from some of the best contemporary playwrights, for performance by schools and youth theatres from all over the UK and Ireland, both in their home venues and at sixteen regional partnership theatres. The NT Festival showcases an example of each play. Exposed to a life without compromise, young asylum seekers in the UK fight to stay in control of their lives past, present and future... With new friends Cheung and Ara by his side he begins to reconcile his past and find pleasure in the present. But when the system starts to break down...
