Rehearsed readings of extracts from the latest plays by black writers including "The (Many) Wives of Fela Kuti" and "Boat Gypsies" by Julius Ayodeji (Natural Breaks and Rhythms). Plus "The Cliffs" by Leah Chillery (The Earl of Mo’ Bay) and "Palm Wine and Stout" by Segun Lee French. The evening will include live music and a chance to meet the writers and discuss their work.
