Our regular night of works in progress returns for a series of three special editions, exploring the themes of the festival. This event will include the following performances: Pillow Talk sheds light on the male commentary that accompanies sexual intimacy, in a solo performance piece that playfully celebrates womanhood. What do we find in those sweet nothings that pass from man to woman before, during and after sex? What power do they have over the construction of our sense(s) of self? Using the memories of over a hundred women, Pillow Talk is a striptease like no other. It does not promise to be sexy. Orgasm - culture would have you believe? Orgasm is a brave, bold and amusing performance exploring the world of non cis-male pleasure through verbatim text and physical theatre in a surprisingly joyous act of dissent against all those who think it is a taboo subject, against all those who have sought to silence discussions on it. Stature of Liberty Conferenc 2017: 'Don't Take It Lying Down! - Ever looked at the female anatomy and wondered: Is that just inherently submissive?
