Two nights of fully-loaded dance with works by four of the UK's most exciting contemporary dance companies: Tempered Body Dance Company, Cloud Dance, Martial Dance and Beyond Repair Dance. Cloud Dance and Tempered Body Dance Company will be performing three brand-new works by Magdalene Wynne-Jones, Beyond Repair Dance are returning to perform Temporate Pulse, and Martial Dance will be making a long-overdue appearance in London. All four companies will be performing new and old works with themes including: the fluency between fragility and empowerment, loneliness and fatigue, gusto and solace. A glimpse into the obsession for complete fusion, love affairs guided by sensuality and violence. Work inspired by the stories of pioneers settling in a new land, and the vast struggle of sheer survival in the effort to create a life and a home, and the mystery of ‘make of it what you will, obtain the evidence and return to what you know’. The Other will play on Saturday. Yin & Yang will play on Sunday.
