The Four Temperaments - The prelude introduces the three-part theme, then reworked in four variations based on the medieval theory of the four temperaments: Melancholic (sad, pensive), Sanguinic (confident), Phlegmatic (impassive) and Choleric (angry). Hofesh Shechter - Choreographer and composer Hofesh Shechter is an Associate Artist of Sadler's Wells and his company is Resident Company at Brighton Dome. His works, for which he creates both choreography and score, are in the repertories of international companies including Bern Ballett and Nederland Dans Theater. He makes his Royal Ballet debut in the 2014/15 Season with a new one-act work for the Company.
