Shadowplay (Antony Tudor) - Strongly influenced by the choreographer's fascination with eastern philosophy, the ballet has as its major figure the Boy with Matted Hair, originally created for Anthony Dowell, and has its origins in Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. Marguerite and Armand - an adaptation of Dumas' La Dame aux camelias, the story of the doomed, turbulent passion between a courtesan and her young, idealistic lover.
