Critically acclaimed choreographer Pam Tanowitz enthralled Linbury Theatre audiences with Everyone Keeps Me, created for The Royal Ballet in 2019 for the Merce Cunningham Centennial Celebrations. Brimful of fleet movement and fluid changes of rhythm and mood, this work is set to Ted Hearne's intense string quartet with nine dancers bathed in Clifton Taylor's stunning pools of light. Building on the success of Everyone Keeps Me, the New-York based choreographer returns to The Royal Ballet with that work and a world premiere set to Grammy-nominated composer Anna Clyne's Breathing Statues. This mixed programme showcases Tanowitz's unique modern sensibility deconstructing balletic convention.
