Details

The Bellboys (Les Grooms) was originally formed as part of the company Theatre de I'Unite, one of the first groups to explore street theatre in France. Now an independent company in its own right, The Bellboys (Les Grooms) mixes theatre and music, to create inventive and enchanting performances. Celebrate the Barbican's 25th birthday with Russian ballet dancers and a brass band. Ballet tutus meet trombones to create a lively family performance full of surprises, as The Bellboys (Les Grooms) join forces with an unusual duo of ballet dancers and lead you on a magical musical journey around the Barbican foyer. Inspired by Les Ballets Russes, this free performance features music by composers including Rimsky Korsakov, Borodin, Tchaikovsky and others. Approx 60mins/no interval. In English and French.
