The Royal Albert Hall is delighted to announce a brand-new Swing Dance in our iconic main Auditorium. One of London's biggest Swing Dances returns to the Royal Albert Hall's iconic auditorium. You are invited to follow in the footsteps of the world's most famous dancers from Carlos Acosta to Sara Baras and take to the dancefloor in the breathtaking surroundings of the Hall. The event will start with a beginners Lindy Hop class with Simon Selmon of SwingdanceUK to get everyone moving. Whether you are completely new to swing dance or a seasoned pro, get your glad rags on and join us for a good old-fashioned knees up! No partner or experience needed. Dance the Lindy Hop, Jive and Jitterbug as you spend the evening moving and grooving to the sounds of our very own Albert's Big Band on a specially laid dance floor. They'll be performing renditions of classics by Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and Count Basie.
