Eka - The triad of Saraswati, Laxmi and Parvati unite to form the Tridevi. This philosophy contrasts the male energies of the Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva Trimurti. The female energies represent the learning, prosperity and legacy of our individual contribution to society. The power within EKA transforms irreversibly through three hypnotic dancers, Emiko, Kesha & Anaya as they interact and influence each other's behaviours. They reveal the delicate inner and turbulent outer balance that forms our singular world. Fly From - 'In the end, you are only left with your flesh and bones' Fly From explores the habits of resistance that linger in mind and body when trying to break free. In times of change and uncertainty, this physical journey grows from animalistic roots to reaching nirvana when challenged by displacement and detachment from within. The pieces featured in Woven are supported by Arts Council England, Phizzical, Sampad, Chitraleka Dance Company, Curve, DanceXchange & RSA Tipton.
