Something Big opens with the London premiere of Sarah Warsop’s latest work Whiff, a quiet study setting two striking dancers against each other in an exploration of unity and individuality. Featuring dancers, Marina Collard and Pari Naderi, Whiff is set to a score by composer Charles Kriel. Sally Doughty brings her one woman show Dance for Radio to London for the first time. It’s a funny and wry look at dance rehearsals. Independent dance artist Sally has been making and performing work both nationally and internationally since the early 90s and is passionate about improvisation.Former Rambert dancer Colin Poole performs his most recent work The Box Office, his unique take on the myths surrounding the exploitation of the black dancing body. Poole is a London-based independent artist who produces satirical and thought-provoking work that slyly comments on the comedies and tragedies of contemporary living.
