Details
Britain's biggest and most exciting touring dance company who often tour two programmes at a time. Dancing to a mixture of musical styles they provide enormously watchable evenings. In their two-week season at Sadler's Wells and as part of their 75th anniversary season, artistic director Christopher Bruce has devised a celebratory programme that includes new works by Richard Alston and Wayne McGregor as well as himself. The season also includes
Symphony of Psalms, Jiri Kylian's glorious celebration of the human spirit; Siobhan Davies's mysterious and striking Sounding; Jeremy James's final creation Cheese and Glen Tetley's dramatic masterpiece
Pierrot Lunaire. Following the outstanding success of last year's Promenade performances, the Proms return this year in the first week of Rambert's programme. The season will also include a special performance on Friday 15 June - the actual 75th anniversary - and a family matinee on Saturday 23 June.
