Rambert Dance Company - Linear Remains/Five Brahms Waltzes/Visions Fugitives/PreSentient archiveBritain's biggest and most exciting touring dance company who often tour two programmes at a time. Dancing to a mixture of musical styles they provide enormously watchable evenings. Linear Remains - Created by Rambert's Associate Choreographer, Rafael Bonachela, this is a fine example of his free-flowing approach to movement that fizzes with kinetic energy. Five Waltzes in the Manner of Isadora Duncan - Choreographed for Rambert in 1976, this beautiful solo for a female dancer has been revived to mark the centenary year of its creator, Sir Fredrick Ashton. Visions Fugitives - Dutch choreographer Hans van Manen created this suite od dances that range from the sinister to the playful. The music comprises 15 miniatures, each lasting between 20 seconds and 2 minutes. PreSentient is a physically audacious spectacle by one of Britain's hottest choreographers, Wayne McGregor. It is performed to Steve Reich's driving Triple Quartet. Rambert Dance Company website.
