Details
Britain's biggest and most exciting touring dance company who often tour two programmes at a time. Dancing to a mixture of musical styles they provide enormously watchable evenings.
Eternal Light is one of Rambert Dance Company's most ambitious collaborations in recent years, a powerfully beautiful and life-affirming celebration set to an elegiac and evocative score.
Carnival of the Animals -
Carnival of the Animals is arguably Siobhan Davies' most popular and endearing work. This brand new production by Britain's most accomplished female choreographer is set to Saint-Saens' beautiful and melodic music. Re-invigorated for the 21st century the work re-unites Rambert dancers with this outstanding artist.
A Tribute to Norman Morrice - Two short excerpts from works by Rambert dancer/choreographers Mikaela Polley and Alexander Whitley, performed as a tribute to the late Norman Morrice, Rambert's former Artistic Director, and set to music by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Karen Khachaturian.
Infinity - Australian choreographer Garry Stewart's high energy
Infinity explores the dramatic and often brutal passage towards life's inevitable end. Intuitive and emotional, the work pits the dancers against each other in an avalanche of striking physical imager, and is set to an eclectic and other-worldly new musical score.
