Rambert Dance Company - E2 7SD/Killer Pig/Ghost Dances archiveBritain's biggest and most exciting touring dance company who often tour two programmes at a time. Dancing to a mixture of musical styles they provide enormously watchable evenings. The world's best young dancers will perform two works that launched the international careers of their choreographers: E2 7SD by Sydney Dance Company artistic director and former Rambert Dancer, Rafael Bonachela and Killer Pig by Sharon Eyal. The programme will also include a new creation by Benoit Swan Pouffer, Rambert's Guest Artistic Director. The evening closes with Christopher Bruce's masterpiece. Ghost Dances, tells stories of love and compassion using imagery from celebrations of the Day of the Dead, accompanied by the rhythms of traditional Latin American music. Beautiful and humane, this is a moving tribute to the victims of political oppression. Rambert Dance Company website.
