Plasticization - This solo performance unashamedly makes use of comedy to deliver its message, exploring the many ways in which society uses plastic, from packaging to prophylactics. In a materialistic society it seems that even the most intimate moment now takes place through barriers. C'est a Dire - That is to Say... - Last seen as part of Compagnie Salia ni Seydou in BITE04, Seydou Boro returns with a confessional choreographic monologue. Humour, gravity, sensitivity and emotion are all combined in this deeply personal performance. Seydou speaks directly to the audience and explores this relationship with dance, revealing the influences of European and traditional African styles on his approach to choreography.
