Marie-Gabrielle Rotie, is celebrated in the UK for her poetic, intimate solos, which draw upon her training in Fine Art, Dance and Butoh. Mythic, her new solo, receives its London premiere at Laban, after a UK tour. Mythic conjures images of transformation, death and loss exploring Butoh founder Tatsumi Hijikata's assertion that the dead live on inside us.
