From Here to Maturity is an artist-led organisation and its members, whose ages range from late forty to early 70s. It aims to challenge ageism and prejudice by making original and imaginative dance pieces which entertain, stimulate and touch and emotions. Legs to Stand On - is an alternative cabaret of dance and songs, bringing together the From Here to Maturity troupe - exceptional freelance performers. This entertaining and moving performance highlights their life experience and artistry which are unbounded by age, and follows on from their success in the 1999 Blitz Festival.
