Fabulous Beast exploded onto the Irish arts scene in 1997. The company is led by Michael Keegan-Dolan, one of Ireland's most talented, challenging and innovative contemporary artists. With three Olivier Award nominations under his belt, choreographer and founding director of Fabulous Beast Michael Keegan-Dolan has established a reputation for his dynamic and innovative approach to theatre. Here he collaborates with one of Ireland's most successful folk rock musicians, Liam ? Maonla? of Hothouse Flowers, drawing inspiration from ? Maonla?'s 2005 solo album Rian, which means ?mark' or ?trace' in Irish. A delightfully innovative fusion of two very different disciplines, Irish traditional music and Irish contemporary dance/theatre, Rian has dazzled audiences in Dublin and London and has also been nominated for the Judges' Special Award in The Irish Times Theatre awards 2011. ?an extraordinary piece of dance theatre that manages to be both seamless entertainment and a rich insight into Irish culture' The Irish Times This performance will finish at approximately 21:30
