De Montfort University is home to some of the most innovative dance practice in the country. The annual University Dance Festival showcases the best of the best student work produced over the course of the year and makes new dance available to a wider audience in the form of fresh, exuberant and challenging performances. Original choreography and stunning live performance combine in a spectacular celebration of dance. This year will also include a brand new performance directed by internationally renowned choreographers Pete Shenton (of New Art Club) and Sally Doughty. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience first hand the talents of the young choreographers and performers preparing to lead British Dance into the future.
