Accompanied by A Blank Canvas, a foyer installation by Heather Eddington's State of Flux dancefilm company, blending dance, film and animation. In (re)traces choreographer and dancer Tanja Råman, photographer John Collingswood and musician Jon Ruddick explore the world of memories, creating constantly evolving maps from traces of the dancing body. Former Phoenix dancer Douglas Thorpe’s new work for five dancers a mind as beautiful explores the experience of schizophrenia, combining his trademark speed, rhythm and precision with a moving spoken narrative. Finally, there’s another chance to see Darren Ellis’ quirky exploration of practice and the quest for perfection, Sticks And Bones. Part of the Spring Loaded season.
