Details

New work by emerging choreographers. Dance Roads is an international partnership programme supporting the development of innovative choreographers from Wales, France, the Netherlands, Italy and Canada. The touring programme of five short works promises a diverse evening of quality contemporary dance, ideal for the first time dance audience and regular attenders. Following the success of the international residency and work in progress presentation at Chapter last September, the thirteen compelling artists return to Cardiff this May to perform their finished pieces. Dance Roads Open Process (DROP) is the first Welsh led dance project to be funded by the EU Culture Programme and aims to develop and expand the provision currently available to the small-scale contemporary dance sector in Europe hosted by Coreo Cymru, Chapter and the Dance Roads international partners. Join the Dance Roads artists for an after show talk on Thu 22 May to hear about the artists' experience of being part of the DROP programme and to feedback on their work.
