Inspired by the tapestries of Grayson Perry, Taste is a deliciously touching, romp of a show with humour, irreverence and playfulness at its heart TASTE explores ideas and issues around social class and its relationship to taste in contemporary Britain, and is inspired by Grayson Perry's exuberant tapestries ?The Vanity of Small Differences', the accompanying BAFTA nominated television series and national tour of the works to galleries. The work which includes elements of theatre, music and text and is a collaboration between Cscape's Artistic Director Sally Knight with choreographer Neil Paris (Place Prize semi-finalist, Fabulous Beast /Agnes and Walter), writer and comic poet Murray Lachlan-Young (Radio 4 /Radio 2 / Radio 6), with music by Nathaniel Reed and additional theatre direction from Simon Harvey (Kneehigh and o-region).
