The Linbury Studio Theatre hosts two exciting new ROH2 dance theatre commissions. Choreographer Cathy Marston and composer Stuart McRae make for an impressive line-up of top talent, blending dance, opera and live video to explore the themes of the famous Greek myth from Ovid's Metamorphoses, Echo and Narcissus. Australian performer and choreographer Liz Lea's style crosses continents. She trained both at London Contemporary Dance and in India, and her work is a fascinating exploration of the boundaries between East and West. The music is by New Zealand composer John Metcalfe, whose work includes string quartets and pop hits - a near parallel to the cross genre fusions of Lea. Approx. running time 1 hour 30 minutes.
