Details

A simple yet compelling interpretation of Ravel's classic score Bolero (1961) was the first work Bejart choreographed for his newly established 'Ballet of the 20th Century'. Performed by one solo dancer with an entourage of male onlookers, the ballet echoes Ravel's music in building to a frenzied climax. In addition, the programme will feature Seven Greek Dances (1986) set to music by Mikis Theodorakis and a world premiere created by Bejart especially for London.
