The Akram Khan Company is UK based with a truly global focus. Khan's choreography is a dazzling fusion of classical Indian katak and western contemporary dance - dance that is bold, uninhibited, intelligent, inventive and challenging. This production is the final installment of his trilogy of kathak solos exploring Hindu Gods. The evening includes the central solos from the first two parts of the trilogy, Polaroid Feet and Ronin, plus a new solo choreographed by one of India's leading in innovative kathak artists, Kumudini Lakia. Khan is joined live on stage by the five musicians from his previous two classical shows including singer Faheem Mazhar, plus BC Manjanath, the percussionist from his company's current touring show Ma Akram Khan Company website.
