21 Tales takes real-life stories of people living in emotionally and physically restricted spaces and through an energised cocktail of amplified movement, hypnotic visuals and painfully honest text, reverses the audience into cramped, damp and absurd corners of their own lives. Bringing together live performance with dance, film, text, set design and digital visuals, Fionn Barr has collaborated with award-winning screenwriter, John Foster, long-term digital collaborator Paul Inman and award-winning filmmaker, Joe Tunmer. The production also features Somerset-based Associate Artist for Dance South West, Niki McCretton.
