A journey through the story of the Emerald Isle.Through narration, poetry and song we are taken through Irish history from the Celtic times, through various famous historical moments, famous characters who helped shape the culture of the country, right up to the music we know and love over the last number of years when we hear stories of the Titanic build, the 1916 Rising, the forming of the Dubliners, and finding peace in Northern Ireland.Music featured in the show include classics such as Danny Boy, Galway Bay, The Last Rose of Summer, Ill Take You Home Again Kathleen, Raglan Road as well as toe tappers such as Black Velvet Band, The Wild Rover, The Irish Rover and many more. If you like Irish music, and all things Irish this show will pull on your heartstrings and make you smile in equal measure.
