The Golden Age of Jazz archiveReiss Ellis Beckles is a vibrant and creative Alto Saxophonist based in North London. Citing Charlie Parker, Will Vinson and Braxton Cook as a few of his major influences. Reiss always has one foot firmly rooted in the Jazz tradition as well as exploring and searching for new sounds and colours with the other. For this concert, Reiss and his band will be performing lesser known standards written in the 1920s and 30s by composers such as Louis Armstrong, Hoagy Carmichael and many more!
