Details
Music of the Street, Tavern and Countryside. This is Early Music for all; four hundred years of English popular music from medieval dances to Henry VII's court songs and foot-tapping tunes from the backstreets and bawdy-houses of Purcell's London - all presented on a riot of period instruments in a hilarious combination of pantomime and scholarship and with all the panache of an early travelling band.
